The instrument used was an observation guide applied to third grade students and eight (8) key informants (teachers). It is concluded that the teacher manages to influence upon the social relations of the boys and girls by the use of a marked sexist and not very inclusive language, without means and technological devices that promote educational communication, which must be incorporated as channels for exemplification from the classroom of the language of gender, equality and inclusion, so it is also necessary to combine resources for such purposes.El presente estudio se desarrolló con el propósito de comprender las relaciones de género establecidas en el contexto del aula de clases y los recursos educomunicativos empleados diariamente en dos instituciones educativas de la provincia de Cotopaxi, Ecuador. La metodología utilizada fue la investigación cualitativa y la técnica de recogida de datos fue la observación participante. El instrumento usado fue una guía de observación aplicada a estudiantes del tercer grado y a ocho (8) informantes claves (profesores/as).
