Resumo:Being one of the most valuable products in the world, coffee has a great importance on the economy of producing countries worldwide. China is one of the largest markets, and the largest growth, consumption in the world, experiencing a growing demand for coffee. There is a small research that has been carried out in relation to China is growing appreciation of the coffee preference that can be demanded from a country like Ecuador, without neglecting its role as an actor-producer of coffee worldwide. The present work aims to contribute to the existing knowledge, starting from an examination of the behavior and the trends of the foreign trade of the consumption and the purchase of coffee by the Chinese part of the clients, above all, the relevance that can have the positioning of organic coffee of Ecuadorian origin, which quality is perceived in several countries as one of the best in the world, in a market such as Chinese.
