Sumario:It is proposed to develop a business plan for the creation of a company dedicated to the production of organic carrot jam, considering that being a vegetable is unconventional to find it. In addition, according to the established objectives, the result will allow the production of a new product, presenting as a general objective; To determine if in the market of the city of Quito, Pichincha province there is an unmet demand to implement a company that is dedicated to the elaboration of this type of product. In this way, it was known that within the market of the city of Quito, province of Pichincha, there is an unmet demand for 115,856 households, therefore it is viable to implement a company with these characteristics to provide a differentiating product. A methodological analysis was also carried out in which the information collection methods were defined, such as the focus group, which was addressed to professionals in the business management area that corresponds to 6 people, in the same way the survey tool was applied addressed to households, which corresponds to 502,847 households. In the same way, the production capacity itself was determined, which allowed us to know the number of glass container units of 300 grams of organic carrot jam, which will be produced according to machinery and human resources. annual. Finally, through the analysis of financial indicators such as the Net Present Value (NPV), which is positive in dollars of 41,279.71 dollars and, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) was obtained as a percentage of 31.59 percent, the feasibility of the project.
