The collection of data was carried out byapplying a Perceptions Scale about Inclusion and Attention to Diversity (PIAD) adapted tothe Ecuadorian context. The results showed interesting answers about the inclusiveapproaches, training contents and the competencies necessary to attend to the diversity of thestudents. In addition, there is a correlation between the dimensions indicated with the variable"Certified training in pedagogy or educational methods", demonstrating the favorableperception of teachers.El presente artículo tiene como objetivo describir las percepciones de los docentes de la Universidad de las Artes en relación a la inclusión y atención a la diversidad. Se realizó una investigación de enfoque cuantitativo de alcance descriptivo-correlacional y su tipo de diseño es no experimental, con una muestra de 121 docentes. La recolección de datos se realizó aplicando una Escala de Percepciones acerca de la Inclusión y la Atención a la Diversidad (PIAD) adaptado al contexto ecuatoriano. Los resultados evidenciaron respuestas interesantes acerca de los planteamientos inclusivos, contenidos formativos y las competencias necesarias para atender la diversidad del alumnado.
