Sumario:In 1980, a couple of Swiss tourists were walking along the Malecón in Guayaquil, the landscape of Santay Island caught their attention and they wanted to photograph it, the perfect place to doing so was from the Moorish tower clock. At that moment a man came out of the tower elegantly dressed, the tourists asked permission to climb the tower and take the Photographs. He very cordially put himself under orders, assured them that he was the owner and He told them that he urgently needed to sell it, since he had to travel. Foreigners amazed by the architecture and man's story about the origin of the tower and origin of its clock, they were convinced to buy it.
