The findings show the students' relevance by granting deep meanings to their childhood experiences that are broadly related to the educational attention they lavish and invite them to understand their own pedagogical work. The lived child is then an indelible mark on the being that we are.La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo develar las subjetividades que tienen las estudiantes en formación docente acerca del niño. En este estudio de enfoque cualitativo se utilizó el método fenomenológico hermenéutico para describir, interpretar y reflexionar las versiones generadas a través de la entrevista a profundidad. Los hallazgos arrojan la relevancia del niño vivido por las estudiantes al otorgar significados profundos a sus experiencias infantiles que relacionan ampliamente con la atención educativa que prodigan y les invita a comprender su propio hacer pedagógico.
