Description
Summary:This text is a theoretical essay whose aim is to develop an argument about what teaching learning is essential components in initial teacher training. To this end, we chose to do so by talking, firstly, about learning in general as a dynamic, multidimensional, and manifestly complex process that occurs primarily on a biological, psychological, and social level. From then on, we narrowed our focus to teaching learning, reaching the conclusion that they are part of Teaching Professional Development. Next, we begin to focus on teaching learning specific to initial teacher training, based on its principles, knowledge and tendencies, and finally extract five of the teaching learnings that we consider essential in the training of future teachers, namely: mastery and knowledge of specific content; the configuration of teaching strategies and varied methodologies; professional posture and knowledge; peer collaboration; and the development of critical thinking.
