| Sumario: | Currently there is a greater concern of the population to improve their living conditions and health, so the use of organic agriculture in agricultural food production helps people achieve these goals, globally, nationally and locally. There are various producers of organic fruits and vegetables in the canton of Otavalo, most of them located in the rural sector. In the community of Azama there is the group "Manos Amigas" that is dedicated to the organic cultivation of fruits and vegetables, these products are marketed by them in the canton, however, it faces problems in its marketing chain, so to improve the commercial positioning of the products, a business plan was developed for the period 2022-2026. It is a projective investigation; the type of investigation was documentary with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Surveys were applied to two hundred people from the urban sector of the Otavalo canton; as well as an interview with the members of the organization for the collection of relevant data. The results obtained from the sample showed that for 67% of Otavalan families, the consumption of fruits and vegetables is important, they consume weekly and mostly buy these products in the markets, with quality and price being the most important purchasing factors. |
