| Sumario: | The present work tries to support the formative and educational processes of mathematics, starting from the design and application of a teaching strategy of fractional numbers, under the principles proposed in the theory of Teaching Phenomenology by Hans Freudenthal. This proposal was developed by the 7th graders in secondary school from the Fidel Suarez Institution, from which a diagnosis of the domains of knowledge and previous learning of the students is disclosed, to then evaluate the processes and results of the application of the strategy, through a pilot test and a qualitative statistical study that allows describing the scope achieved in pedagogical practice. This last aspect demonstrates very satisfactory and significant achievements in students’ learning regarding fractions and their different representations. |
