Resumo:The article investigates the interface between law and economics in which is distant to the credit consumer overindebtedness theme in Brazil in the XXI century. It appears that the new developmentalism involved stimulating a policy of growth that led to an expansion of credit which favored the increase of the Brazilian debt ratios in recent years. A feasible alternative for the prevention and treatment of problem emerges from Bill No. 283/2012, the study and criticism are addressed in this work.
