Sumario:The teaching-learning process involves the interaction between Education and Neuroscience. The knowledge of how the brain learns is increasingly present in the educator's daily life. The purpose of this review is to present the book O Cérebro Aprendiz – Neuroplasticidade e Educação by the author Roberto Lent. The book, in a simple and objective way, explains to the reader how knowledge about Neuroscience can help in the educational field. Throughout the chapters, the reader will be able to understand about the process of development and functioning of the nervous system, especially the brain. Knowledge of brain maturation is crucial to understand some learner behaviors and possible learning difficulties. The use of pedagogical strategies based on how the brain works, mainly based on scientific evidence, can be more effective for the student's teaching-learning process. Reading this book, therefore, helps the educator to better understand the dialogue between the study on nervous system and education.
