| Sumario: | Capoeira in Ceará, in its systematized form started in the 1970s, with Mestre Zé Renato, from the school space, being considered the pioneer in teaching. Note that, around 1975, groups of young people played Capoeira, recreationally, on the coast of Fortaleza. In 1979, he arrived in Ceará, Mestre Squisito, coming from Brasília, brought with him some innovations. This work investigated the legacy of the Terreiro de Capoeira Association for Capoeira do Ceará. Thus, it is thought that this work is contributing to the recording of local memory, telling the story of the common man. It is a qualitative research supported by memory, through virtual contact, under an ethnographic (Net) look. We conclude that Terreiro de Capoeira, through its masters brought a legacy in various fields of knowledge that significantly contributes to the development of Capoeira do Ceará. |
