Descripción
Sumario:Considering the development of the cities, guided by capitalism and crossed by the power relations, this article aims to analyze some dynamics that format the urban space. Starting from the perspectives of Michel Foucault, the purpose is to contextualize biopolitics, relating variables that influence the socio-spatial context and analyze the problems of urban space in a field beyond the technical. In the first topic, the city stands out with emphasis on the articulation of the mechanisms of power over the population. With that, the right to the city is undermined by the population rummage and the formation of the urban in a precarious way. In the second topic the segregation processes and the violence are highlighted, considering the state racism related to them.
