Resumo:The goal of this research is to analyse the power relations at the so called Gig Economy, or the uberization of work, and it’s consequences. The neoliberal values makes this emerging way of work relations viable, and insert in the individual false notions of freedom and autonomy. The digital plataforms, an essential part of the gig economy dynamics, serves as a control device acting between consumer, worker and market. At the brazilian context of economic instability, working via apps becomes popular and contributes to the informality and precariousness of work. That reality becomes even more complex with the pandemic arrival, when a demand expansion for this kind of work arrives. It is discussed, at the end of this research, what do or do not changes about those power relations, and what is the limit of the normalization of the work precariousness
