Sumario:Dairy activity has the potential to generate income, both for small, medium and large producers. Being a perennial activity, it evolved from investment in equipment, technologies, supplements, in addition to genetic improvement and research into milk quality. Based on these aspects, this objective is to analyze the impact of dairy activity on the socioeconomic life of producers in the Microregion of Ipora – GO, using field research, with small, medium and large milk producers in the region as subjects. The study was implemented using an interview guide applied to producers, with the intention of verifying how dairy activity is organized in the Microregion of Ipora – GO. It was considered that there is still a gap between what is produced and the value paid for the product (milk), especially when considering the national scenario and its index differs when considering local sales.
