The research was carried out with a qualitative and bibliographic approach of literature review by authors such as Aires (2020), Barbosa (2023), Cunha (2021), Caetano (2021), Ferreira & Calixto (2021), Jesus (2021), Minayo (2020), Souza & Silva Neta (2023), among others. Also considering, the data collection of a questionnaire with 10 semi-structured questions, had as target audience, 14 basic education teachers with a degree in Mathematics, in a time frame of performance of these teaching professionals in the period from December 2019 to March 5, 2023, it was possible to understand and list the implications regarding the student's lack of interest in the subject of mathematics.

La investigación se realizó con un enfoque cualitativo y bibliográfico de revisión de literatura por autores como Aires (2020), Barbosa (2023), Cunha (2021), Caetano (2021), Ferreira & Calixto (2021), Jesús (2021), Minayo. (2020), Souza & Silva Neta (2023), entre otros. Considerando además, que la recolección de datos a partir de un cuestionario con 10 preguntas semiestructuradas, tuvo como público objetivo, 14 docentes de educación básica licenciados en matemáticas, en un marco temporal de actividad de estos profesionales docentes en el período comprendido entre diciembre de 2019 y el 5 de marzo., 2023, fue posible comprender y enumerar las implicaciones respecto al desinterés del estudiante por la asignatura de matemáticas.Este trabalho objetivou compreender o desinteresse na disciplina de matemática, de estudantes da Educação Básica, anos finais, a partir da perspectiva dos professores(as). A pesquisa foi realizada com uma abordagem qualitativa e bibliográfica de revisão de literatura de autores como Aires (2020), Barbosa (2023), Cunha (2021), Caetano (2021), Ferreira & Calixto (2021), Jesus (2021), Minayo (2020), Souza & Silva Neta (2023), entre outros.
