Sumario:This paper has the objective of analyzing the educational case of adolescents living in slums, students of a municipal school in Rio de Janeiro. It has been argued that it is a difficult task that requires effective leadership to encourage a change in attitude, values and behavior of adolescents, such as proposed in the Fullan Model. This model allowed the reinterpretation of the case addressed in this study, characterized by a "theorization" based on knowledge, creativity, insight, and common sense. It is expected that this study will inspire educational policies for adolescents living in slums and urban periphery , and may be replicated in other situations.
