Resumo:This study addresses the potential causes of learning difficulties in students and underscores the relevance of Psychopedagogy and Psychomotricity as preventive and supportive approaches. From the above, the following question arises: how can Psychopedagogy and Psychomotricity, exercised together, work on issues related to prevention and assistance in the development of students with learning difficulties? As a general objective, it is discussed how Psychomotricity and Psychopedagogy can contribute to the practice of preventing and combating Learning Difficulties. As a methodology, a qualitative approach and a bibliographic character were adopted. In addition, the importance of psychomotricity and psychopedagogy for the development of students is highlighted, considering that the first one influences the entire educational and social path of students, and the second one has as one of its main focuses the fight against school failure, what differentiates it from the means used in schools.
