Resumo:Futsal and football are the most practiced sports among children and adolescents, seeking to develop and improve physical abilities and motor skills. The present study aims to compare the psychomotor level between schooling with a group of Futsal practitioners and a group of a social project. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional, quantitative, descriptive study. The sample consisted of 65 male children, 26 of a futsal school and 39 of a social project. Oliveira's psychomotor battery was used, which evaluated motor coordination, body schema, laterality and spatio-temporal structuring. As a result, it was verified that the futsal practitioner group was superior in most of the motor aspects of motor coordination, laterality and temporal structuration, when compared between schooling in the laterality component, 2nd and 3rd year futsal excelled those of AABB. For body layout, the 2nd and 3rd year the AABB group were better and the 4th and 5th the futsal group. For coordination, the 2nd, 4th and 5th years of Futsal were better. For the spatial structuring, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year the AABB group were better compared to the Futsal. And for the temporal structuring, 2° 3° and 5° futsal was better. It is concluded that the group of futsal practitioners were better than the members of the AABB social project in most of the components.
