| Sumario: | The knowledge about disability and education's methods that seek to develop the potential of people with disabilities (PWD) is of great importance for the generation and update specific information towards to this population. In this sense, the method psychomotor, this is a science that seeks the cognitive, motor and affective development of PWD, takes into account the exploration of individual potential, seeking to improve them. Thus, the aim of this study was to review the literature on the importance of work psychomotor in Physical Education classes for PWD. Through this theoretical survey we found that the Adapted Physical Education classes, based on the method psychomotor, have positives effects overall development of PWD, offering better conditions of aspects motor, cognitive and social, which implies better quality of life for this population group. |
