| Resumo: | The development of a region depends on natural, social, economic and cultural factors that, in turn, shape the regional dynamics of a particular location. Rural tourism, in turn, can contribute to this development. This article aims to analyze the Rural Enchantment Route, located in the municipality of Quilombo-SC, from the perspective of rural development. The methodology of a qualitative nature included a field research with six rural enterprises that are part of the Route and four representatives of institutions that helped in its implementation. For data collection, semi-structured interviews and observation recorded in a field diary were used. Data analysis was based on content. From the data extracted from the research, it is concluded that the Rural Enchantments Route contributes to the rural development of the municipality of Quilombo-SC, because, in addition to providing extra income to families, it helps farmers to become more protagonists, it values the culture location and enables a more harmonious with the environment. |
