Descripción
Sumario:This work aims to map and analyze trail routes for cyclists, tourists and family members in the Pontal do Triângulo region, particularly the municipality of Iturama, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil allowing to generate development for the region, mainly for small producers. For this activity, an attempt was made to carry out a diagnosis of the region, cataloging key points and possible new commercial points (handicrafts, food, leisure activities and various others) for the creation and implementation of rural trails itineraries, in order to provide a strengthening both rural tourism and community action in favor of rural development. The actions were carried out through visits to possible scales that could be institutionalized, in partnership with the City Hall via the Tourism Secretariat. It is assumed that such work collaborates with the development process of the region, as it was done close to farmers and their families, tourists and society as a whole, providing new forms of leisure and activities in the region, effectively collaborating with the historic revitalization, cultural and heritage, in addition to improving the concepts of citizenship, the environment and, above all, encouraging local development.
