Descripción
Sumario:This article emerged as a result of master's research and aims to investigate the extent to which Restorative Justice combined with Human Rights fits into the concepts of Southern Epistemologies,   as   it   emerged   from   community   practices.   Using   the   theoretical framework  of Southern  Epistemologies,  it  is  proposed  that  other  forms  of  conflict resolution should be rescued, other than just the monopoly on the application of law by the  State,  returning  the  conflict  management  to  the  parties.  The  research  used  is exploratory,  to  have  an  amplified  view  of  the  problem  and  the  work  is  qualitative  in nature, structured in literature review and content analysis. At the end of the research, there was proof of the initial hypothesis, in the sense that Restorative Justice is able to act ina complementary way to the current model and justice, as long as it is based on Human Rights, with regard to the dignity of the human person.
