Descripción
Sumario:This work was linked to the research line restorative justice, both from a theoretical point of view as from some implementation experiences in Brazil and in other contexts. The overall goal is to bring into consideration the problem of violence and crime in Brazil, pointing to the restorative justice as a way to resolve conflicts in the school environment. For the study were used documentary and bibliographic research, using the texts of scholars dedicated and specialized legal materials on the subject. Through discussion of the principal authors on the subject of interest, we addressed the understanding of what is restorative justice, its origin, characterization, foundations and guiding the implementation of this model in some countries as well as its applicability in Brazil. Points Restorative Justice as a means of conflict resolution other than the criminal standard model, and an integrated effort to education, responsible for the reduction of all the determinants of violence in school.
