To achieve our objectives, we considered the theoretical support provided by Jorge de Sena (1970), Pontes (1973), Abreu (2004); Chinen, Vergueiro, Ramos (2014); Ramos (2020). Este artículo analiza la obra Os Lusíadas, observando algunos procesos adaptativos que experimentó, con el objetivo de resaltar cómo estas adaptaciones pueden haber contribuido a la permanencia del poema camoniano entre diferentes lectores. Nuestra discusión tiene como punto de partida la lectura de dos versiones en cordel y dos versiones en cómic de la epopeya de Camões, adaptadas por poetas populares e ilustradores y publicadas en diferentes formatos editoriales. Para ello utilizamos como aporte teórico a Jorge de Sena (1970); Pontes (1973); Abreu (2004); Chinen, Vergueiro, Ramos (2014); Ramos (2020).O presente artigo discorre sobre a obra Os Lusíadas, observando alguns processos adaptativos sofridos por ela, visando evidenciar como essas adaptações podem ter contribuído para a permanência do poema camoniano entre diferentes leitores. A nossa discussão tem como ponto de partida a leitura de duas versões em cordel e duas versões quadrinizadas da epopeia de Camões, adaptada por poetas populares e por ilustradores e publicadas em diferentes suportes editoriais.
