| Sumario: | The work here developed proceeds to a specific reading of the book ConstitutionalPersonae of the american author Cass Sunstein and how the profiles he cataloged apply to the Brazilian Supreme Court, especially to Luís Roberto Barroso, minister since June 2013.From the comparative study of Barroso’s works, as a teacher and lawyer, with a critical reading of his votes in three hard cases, both in merit and in the technique of judicial review adopted, one may venture to say that the jurist fits like Sunstein’s Hero, even if the grounding of his decisions does not correspond to the ideas he had previously advocated as an academic. |
