Descripción
Sumario:  In research group discussions we came across criticism of the Bakhtinian concept of Dialogism, questioning its epistemological feasibility. Caryl Emerson endorses views of this concept as “too loose and undisciplined”. She ignores that in Art and Responsibility, Bakhtin considers inseparable the dimensions of life, art and science. In Dostoyevsky’s Problems of Creation and Dostoyevsky’s Problems of Poetics, Bakhtin points out that in Dostoyevsky’s world there is nothing that has said his last word that does not elicit an answer. Based on that, our aim is to discuss the concept of dialogism from the Bakhtinian production in Dostoyevsky. The methodological analysis, dialectical and dialogic, is based on a correlation (соотнесение – sootnessenie) from the Bakhtin Circle works. The expected results point out, firstly, a bias in reading this concept with a controversial theoretical-epistemological-axiological understanding and, on the other hand, possible contexts of receiving this concept in a more accurate way.
