| Sumario: | Our goal is to analyze the uses and values of simple and compound past in Spanish through written short stories in this language, having in mind the point of view of linguistic variety. We worked with the variation of the past forms through a corpus composed of six short stories from different countries, based on the Rama division (1982) and the proposal of Moreno Fernández (2010). At last, we analyzed the uses of SP and CP in our corpus, proving the hypothesis that these verb tenses in real contexts of use of Spanish are subjected to variations. |
