As a result, labour law is bend to adapt to this new context. The author highlights the need of a historical revision to the content of labour law. This involves revisiting the economic context that positioned its inception to identify which elements are essential and defi ne their purpose. Finally, they detail the changes introduced through turbocapitalism as the dynamic of labour relations. From here, the author suggests a revision of the essential elements of labour law as the key to understanding this new economic era.Con el nacimiento de la economía capitalista, el Derecho del Trabajo surgió para dar respuesta a las necesidades de los trabajadores. Pero, tras el paso a una economía turbocapitalista, en que la velocidad y el consumo redefinen la dinámica laboral, se reclama la adaptación del Derecho del Trabajo a este nuevo contexto.El autor propone la necesidad de una revisión histórica al contenido del Derecho del Trabajo. Parte de situar el contexto económico que originó su surgimiento, para, posteriormente, identificar cuáles son sus elementos esenciales y su fi nalidad.
