Sumario:This text approaches the complex relationships between text and textile (weaved, in particular), which have clearly gone beyond the etymological allusion, to open up a whole field of reflection from the educational and pedagogical field. From the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ways in which this framework has been expressed are identified, mainly in Mexican museum spaces, and how the interest in textiles has evidenced four axes of approach: The relationship text/weaving from the etymological point of view, Weaving/embroidering stories and the stories of weaving/embroidery, Weaving and embroidery in relation to gender, Teaching and transmission of textile activities.
