Sumario:The spread of vlogs gives rise to the appearance of YouTube influencers, who enjoy great popularity and credibility. In this scenario, 2.0 tourist influencers emerge, who have changed the way of seeing tourism. This article explains how the values and representations are reproduced in the narrative of the travel vlogs of Peruvian influencers Misias pero Viajeras (MPV) on YouTube and the promotion of short videos on TikTok as a strategy for greater reach of their main content. A case study from an interpretive paradigm was designed. Then, a content analysis guide with a qualitative approach was applied to 7 selected videos based on three narrative categories: context presented in the vlogs, the objective-goal of the influencers, and the construction of the character of the influencers in the vlogs. The narrative analysis has demonstrated the promotion of values associated with Tourism 2.0: access to information, fair prices, and feedback from other users. This article shows how the “do it yourself” narrative is applied to vlogging and shapes the figure of a user of tourist services who no longer needs to aspire to his dream trip but builds it himself.
