Descripción
Sumario:This study proposes to analyze the loss of the core role of work in a world of globalized economy, where social protections, established as social rights and managed by a state welfare system, have been weakened due to the commercialization introduced into the social services since the consolidation of neo-liberal economic policy in various countries around the world. This has led to the expansion of social inequality, characterized by precarious employment and low incomes, which has detained the universalization of social policy, promoting social assistance programs for certain groups.
