| Sumario: | The present work approaches the transformation of the youthful gangs in the City of Mexico, specifically its forms of collective action and the reconfiguration of its identities. It consists of two parts: a) an historical route of the pandilleril phenomenon in Mexico and b) the transformation of this phenomenon by means of the influence of the neoliberalism, which has affected the conceptual reframing of the identity gang member; for our analysis we took as it shows two gangs of young people pertaining to the Col. Santa Martha Acatitla, D. F., to which a survey of around 36 questions was applied to them, as well as we make use of an interview made to a key informant. |
