Descripción
Sumario:In scenarios of cultural diversity, each town has its own electoral regulatory system to validate and elect its representatives, for example the fact that agreements in the communities arise after long discussions or that the election of authorities is the result of open and public votes, guarantees that the agreements that are made have legitimacy and that the elected authorities are persons of recognized prestige and committed to their community, also obliged to render an account of their actions. Interculturality and Restorative Justice can be part of the same discourse and jointly build a methodology that in matters of Electoral Justice in the indigenous peoples of Chiapas allows to obtain the best possible solution in the conflicts of its competence as those related to legitimacy of the municipal authority, which helps to prevent an escalation of violence, design better public policies in electoral judicial matters and contextualize the right to self-determination of the original peoples of Chiapas. The social dynamics of Chenalhó, is an example of how conflicts of social, political and legal origin, hinder the governance and legitimation of authority.
