Sumario:The State of Mexico is one of the most important electoral strongholds in our country, therefore it is of special importance to analyze how the 2021 electoral process unfolded. Through eight thematic axes, various aspects of the election are addressed, beginning with the context in which the results were obtained, and finally, by way of conclusion, a reflection on the principle of gender parity in the composition of the legislature and the city councils.In addition, the results on reelection, the importance of alternation, political violence and citizen participation are presented, closing with some reflections on the elections of 2023 and 2014.
