| Sumario: | A key participant in the discussion on business and human rights are nation-al human rights institutions. Through their different functions, they may contribute to capacity-building in the public and private sectors, thus allowing them to participate directly in the dis-semination and implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Furthermore, in the context of the negotiations on a binding treaty in this field, it will be par-ticularly important to consider the role that these institutions may play, in order to actively collaborate in the development of a corporate human rights culture. |
