This relationship refers to a relevant aspect of the epistemological status of Philosophy, in that it recovers the problematic distinction between explaining and understanding, and in that sense, it is important to review it in order to make some clarifications with respect to the limits and scope of Philosophy, given certain current tendencies of the order of scientist reductionism or unlimited relativism. I will consider this dialectic between semiotics and hermeneutics from a dialogical perspective, that looks at a complementary articulation between both recovering the contributions of Ricoeur’s phenomenological hermeneutics and Beuchot’s analogical hermeneutical perspective.La propuesta del presente texto es hacer algunas consideraciones en torno a un topos metodológico filosófico recuperado en la obra clásica de K.-O. Apel, La transformación de la filosofía. Me refiero a la dialéctica entre hermenéutica y semiótica. Dicha relación se refiere a un aspecto relevante del estatuto epistemológico de la filosofía, por cuanto recupera la problemática distinción entre explicar y comprender, y en ese sentido es importante revisarla en orden a una clarificación con respecto a los límites y alcances de la filosofía, dadas ciertas tendencias actuales del orden del reduccionismo cientificista o del relativismo ilimitado.
