Sumario:The emergence of Industry 4.0 represents the creation of new opportunities in companies to improve their competitiveness, however, its essence involves substantial changes in the way workers interact with machines and equipment to increase productivity. For these reasons, this document presents a brief description of the fundamental concepts of Industry 4.0, providing an observation about the challenges that its implementation implies, together with an analysis that highlights the importance that management has for an adequate decision making.
