This article analyzes the results of the 2021 local elections in the state of Campeche, from a parity and alternation perspective.En 2021 tuvo lugar en el estado de Campeche, el periodo electoral que desembocó en la alternancia política en la entidad. Durante este proceso fueron observados como referentes los principios de paridad de género y alternancia en la contienda electoral. Lo que parecía un reto terminó siendo una máxima durante y después del proceso.Los resultados de este no son más que el reflejo de una madurez política y cambio social que ha permitido no sólo la alternancia, sino también una mayor participación y acceso a las mujeres a cargos de elección popular en el escenario político local.
