Secondly, transhumanism is addressed by outlining its modes of execution (chemical, genetic, biology-machine integration), the underlying positions (scientific and cultural), and the criticisms that are raised (politics, philosophy, and practice). Finally, a reflection on biotechnological understandings of transhumanism in education is developed, taking educational practice as the object of analysis.Se presenta, en primer lugar, una aproximación al posthumanismo y transhumanismo, considerando lo humano como elemento de referencia de lo (post – trans) humano, trazando una concepción en clave del humanismo y la ilustración. En segundo momento, se aborda el transhumanismo bosquejando sus modos de ejecución (químico, genético, integración biología -máquina), las posturas subyacentes (científica y cultural) y las críticas que se le plantean (política, filosófica y práctica).
