Descripción
Sumario:The pandemic caused by the Covid virus has marked humanity. Sadly, since 2020 two contradictory faces of humanity have been shown, on the one hand, human selfishness cultivated by an economic system that lives on individualism and materialism.  On the other hand, a side of solidarity and humanity that has been minimized by large economic interests. The result of the two attitudes to face the pandemic gave differential social results that can be seen in the impact on both health and mortality among social groups. This work analyzes the way in which a marginal neighborhood faced the Covid-19 pandemic in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico, and which shows that, despite the lack of services, the impact of the pandemic was not so high as expected.
