| Sumario: | The search for scientific knowledge in the modern era has been a journey of exploration and discovery. In the contemporary postmodern times, this journey continues, but it requires a paradigmatic shift in the name of the complexity of any object or subject of investigation. The researcher is called to broaden his outlook to dialogically encompass multiple points of view and dimensions. He must be aware that his journey will no longer be directed from «ignorance» to «knowledge», but from preliminary «knowledge» to an ever more complex paradigm of «ignorance» without falling into relativistic immobility. In this paper, we present the most significant stages of this change of course in a journey that goes from the 15th century to the contemporary age and emphasize on the proposals of qualitative criteria and validation for the new and old "truths". |
