| Summary: | This thesis focuses on the analysis of the impact that tourism activity has on job creation, the effect of specialization and productivity of employment in the characteristic and related to tourism branches and the public policies that drive this activity. To do this, a survey was conducted to establishments in the tourist sector of Bucerías. It is found the existence of informal employment in the locality is increasing in the period from December to April, defined as unpaid employment in family businesses, as well as low productivity associated with a low generation of added value and the closure of companies during low season of the tourism; It is worth mentioning that the specialization of employment is found in the characteristic branches of tourism. |
