To address these difficulties, it is important that the professional establish a relationship of trust with the patient and her family, providing them with clear and detailed information about the procedure and allowing them to participate in the decision-making process. Due to this, the objective of this diagram is to describe the behavioral management techniques of the patient with ASD to emphasize the importance and advantages of each one in the dental consultation.El manejo de la conducta de pacientes con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) puede ser un desafío debido a las características propias de esta condición, con dificultades en la comunicación, la socialización y la comprensión de los procedimientos médicos, que requiere un enfoque personalizado y centrado en el paciente, manteniendo como foco principal las necesidades individuales, utilizando estrategias de modificación de conducta efectivas. Para abordar estas dificultades, es importante que el profesional establezca una relación de confianza con el paciente y su familia, brindándoles información clara y detallada sobre el procedimiento y permitiéndoles participar en el proceso de toma de decisiones.
