Sumario:Managing the behavior of patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can be a challenge due to the characteristics of this condition, with difficulties in communication, socialization and understanding of medical procedures, which requires a specific approach. personalized and patient-centered, maintaining individual needs as the main focus, using effective behavior modification strategies. To address these difficulties, it is important that the professional establish a relationship of trust with the patient and her family, providing them with clear and detailed information about the procedure and allowing them to participate in the decision-making process. Due to this, the objective of this diagram is to describe the behavioral management techniques of the patient with ASD to emphasize the importance and advantages of each one in the dental consultation.
