Sumario:The following texts (Architectonic Ideology, The Idea of Progress and The Idealization of Past Living) are grouped together under the title Essays on Architectonic Thought. They seek to present essential, inherent concepts within the discipline, beyond merely academic terms, in order to reflect in a broader sense on architecture and its conception, contributing to a complex understanding of the architectonic thought of Luis Barragán and Mathias Goeritz, exploring in greater depth certain themes addressed superficially in texts dedicated to emotional architecture, as the work of both has affinities with the concepts explored in these essays.
