Sumario:This article deals with four aspects of the work of sociologists in political institutions. First, the author outlines some brief reflections on the discipline of sociology and the need to go further and to the so-called social sciences. In the second term, it deals with professional opportunities for sociologists in political institutions Mexicans, which lead to the triansformation of these institutions.
