| Sumario: | Elder abuse is the single or repeated action, or the lack of appropriate response, that occurs within any relationship where there is an expectation of trust and which produces damage or anguish to an older adult. Within the family circle comes a degradation that leads to discrimination and differential treatment, manifested by shouting, pushing or words that affect him emotionally.
