Descripción
Sumario:The Tulancingo River is located within an area of recent volcanism, characterized geologically by the predominance of Cenozoic rocks dating from the Tertiary and the Quaternary. Since it is a volcanic zone, whose rocks, in most of the insoluble cases, present waters of low ionic concentration, increasing only where there are urban-industrial tributaries and thermal waters. The hydrogeochemical analysis indicates that the waters are classified within the calcium / magnesium-bicarbonate family. The equation used for the evaluation of the sodium adsorption ratio (RAS) was the corrected RAS. This equation takes into account the variations of the calcium ion in the soil solution. The minimum calculated value of the corrected RAS was 0.200 and the maximum value of 5.911, with an average of 0.674. The main effect of the water, detected by the infiltration graph that relates the electrical conductivity (CE) and the RAS, is on the infiltration. The minimum value of the measured CE was 0.043 dS m-1 and the maximum value of 1.438 dS m-1, with a mean value of 0.419 dS m-1. Ca2 + is important in the stability of the physical properties of the soil and especially the hydraulic conductivity; its availability is affected by solubilization and precipitation in the presence of bicarbonates.
