Instead, they should be at school, receiving a quality education in their own language. With the Modalidad Educativa Intercultural para la Población Infantil Migrante (MEIPIN), since 1999, intercultural education was established as a guideline for migrant farm indigenous children, and later was continued in the Programa Educación Primaria para Niñas y Niños Migrantes (PRONIM). In this article the educational activities around intercultural education for this population from the studies conductes by the education sector are analyzed.Niños y niñas de diversos pueblos indígenas trabajan en los campos agrícolas de acuerdo con su edad y género, mientras que deberían estar en la escuela recibiendo educación de calidad en su propia lengua. Desde 1999, con la Modalidad Educativa Intercultural para la Población Infantil Migrante (MEIPIN) se estableció la interculturalidad como práctica educativa recomendada para la niñez indígena agrícola migrante, que se retomó posteriormente en el Programa Educación Primaria para Niñas y Niños Migrantes (PRONIM). En este artículo se analizan las acciones en torno a la educación intercultural dirigida a esta población a partir del análisis de las acciones establecidas por parte del sector educativo.LiminaR.
